A Tribute to Charles Gocher & Sun City Girls
Most dates will feature an opening 40 minute film of Charles Gocher's video experiments followed by two sets of music. AB and RB will be performing Sun City Girls songs as an acoustic guitar duet. This tour will most likely be the only time this show will be presented as such and is a tribute both to Charles Gocher and selected music from the 27 year legacy of Sun City Girls.

Finnish ensemble Avarus is a highly rated entity in the realms of avant-rock, improv and
free-folk. The collective from the city of Tampere consists of an ever evolving cast of musicians from the
Finnish underground (active in groups s.a. Kiila and Kemialliset Ystävät) and have released their
weirdly twisted, puzzling and exciting outings on labels s.a. HP Cycle and (mainly) US based
Secret Eye. The line up in which Avarus will tour Europe this spring includes
several members from the scene surrounding Fonal Records, as well as Jeffrey Alexander from
American band Black Forest/Black Sea. On their forthcoming tour Avarus will be joined
by one-man band JARSE, a member of Shogun Kunitoki, and MIK QUANTIUS, whos
played with legendary Kraut rockers Embryo. This is a truly stunning package!
