Three-piece international ensemble Il Sogno Del Marinaio (featuring legendary bass player Mike Watt, Stefano Pilia on guitar and introducing new drummer Paolo Mongardi) is looking ahead of a month-long trek across Europe between September and October, still promoting their second album „Canto Secondo“ and „The Whistling“ EP from 2016. In between jazz innuendos, post-rockish soundscapes blown by a dry desert wind and good old rock’n’roll, their show is at the same time a celebration of technical mastery and of the pure, unadulterated joy of making music together.
Two Pin Din is Andy Kerr (ex-no means no) and Wilf Plum (ex-Dog faced Hermans, and at present, amount other things, fulltime member of Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp). That’s two guitars and two voices, and yes, they’ve been around for a while. Mr K and Mr P are presently working on a row of new songs. so far they released one full-length album, plus a double 7″ together with ex-the ex vocalist G.W. Sok.
G.W. Sok has been kinda busy lately, too. Making records and touring with bands such King Champion Sounds, Action Beat, Filiamotsa, The And and fuckknows how many others, he decided to go for a spoken word set tonight. But, of course, since Mr K and Mr P are also there, Mr Sok will happily join them for a couple of tunes.
