Launch: A Woman’s Magazine w/ live: Aino + Eden Roding + Melting Mind (IT)

AWM launches its first event of its life. Bobo, Pupi, and Seka set off the first edition of A Woman’s Magazine: Shield-o-Gig at the OCCII with a gallery exhibition party. Exhibitions for the magazine-featured artists open alongside some special VIP features. Come meet the artists! Bobo, Pupi, and Seka will make sure the citizens of AWM-land have the best time in history! What more could you ask for? YOU’RE INVITED.

Magazines sold on-site, biers and snacks available all night, conversations MANDATORY on this night for the love and appreciation of women’s art. But just because it’s all women’s talents doesn’t mean you’re not invited! ALL ARE WELCOME!

Acts & performances:
On this night of festivities, Eden Roding will bless the crowd with a round of her “euphoric” spoken word poetry with a surprise new piece to share with the listeners of the night. The audience will see her helpless love for contemporary and personal spoken word! She will then continue with a dance performance to follow up her moving words with the physical body: “I think the word is a movement” she says.

Aino is a folky-pop artist, singer-songwriter double threat! She will give us a cute and loving soundtrack to this night of women’s appreciation with an indie folk performance with an added electric guitar twist. You won’t be able to get enough!

Melting Mind is a noise quartet based on electro-acoustic improvisation. No fear, no ambition, no pose. Virginia Genta on amplified sax, and David Vanzan, Michele Mazzani and Matteo Poggi on electronics, tape machines, guitar, filters, etc… A cosmic trip into unknown egoless spirals.
