Bandgurl presents Radical Care: A night centered around sexual health and safety in nightlife.
At Bandgurl, we recognize that there needs to be a consistent effort and open dialogue on social safety in our nightlife. We want to turn to our local gurlies: How do we take care of each other, and what can we do for one another? What works, and what doesn’t? We aim to organise an intimate evening (served with soup) with space for questions. Once the talk is finished, a conversational space upstairs will be opened. Still, we offer you the feral energy of our local punkgurls to share, listen, learn, and release.
This evening is part of two nights at OCCII in light of Women’s Day.

Consensual Peggy is a DIY riotgrrrl punkband, who is not averse to hysteria. Unpredictable, loud and fantastically ferocious.
Born out of anger and disbelief against patriarchal society. Consensual Peggy can be your lover, best friend, your mommy, or femdom. She can also be your enemy, hater, never-ending confrontational partner. You choose.
What you can expect exactly? No idea. But you may sing along.

Limerent
Limerent screams in your face and whispers in your ear. The Utrecht-based band creates a mix of alt-
rock and post-punk that plays with your expectations in a deafening way. Melodic basslines and
grungy chords are broken up by aggressive riffs and vocals that float between punk and poetry.
Limerent writes about frustrations in their personal lives, but also their frustrations with our society,
like they did in their contribution to the compilation album Girls to the Front. Their set is gripping,
unpredictable, and most of all very energetic.
