30 YEARS OCCII FESTIVAL – THANK YOU!

Dear everyone,

Recently we celebrated 30 years of OCCII with lots of amazing live music on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday an awesome historical tramride, music, spoken word and exhibition at the Willem de Zwijgerkerk.

We wholeheartedly want to thank each and every one of you who came out to listen, observe, laugh, dance, drink a SLACCII, mosh, scream at the walls, eat cake and borstsj, and even make donations to keep Amsterdam weird for at least 30 more years to come.

A special thanks goes out to all the amazing artists that have been so generous to share their work with us through words, sounds and visual simulations as well as to our dedicated volunteers who cooked, baked, cleaned, served beer and in any other way helped us make this weekend a great success.

We also want to thank all our partners who either helped us financially or have been willing to share the importance of OCCII with the rest of the world through articles, photographs and videos. All of it makes for a tangible history of OCCII for the next generations to reflect on.

Thank you; Porton Porton Lopez, OIOIOIOP, Arakawa Atushi, Yodel Queen, KOU, Cheb Gero, Papelón Kifesh, Chris Meighan, Brader Musiki, Trespasser W, Marta Warelis, Zea, Xavier Charles, Danibal, GW Sok, Sasha Sylbing, Ford Curlingford, Jo van Beusekom, Giulia Spanghero, Hybrida Space, Butchers Tears, Elektrische Museumtramlijn Amsterdam, Mila, Regina, Daniël, Maria, Emma, Sarah, Lize van Kooy, Ineke Duivenvoorde, De Rakel, Raymond van Mil, Vice, 3voor12NH, AT5, Het Parool, Willem de Zwijgerkerk, G3rt, Demi van den Wollenberg & Arnold de Boer! OCCII cannot exist without the community that builds it, and you are all a part of it.

We hope to see your beautiful faces again at one our future events!

Love, OCCII
