Incubating in the dark corners and dusty basements of Nuke York’s underground, the four piece unleashed themselves to an unprepared public in the summer of 2011. They came together to form a group that both embraces and rejects the best sounds of the 80’s. Too tribal for punk, too angry for death rock.

A little bit Virgin Prunes and a strong helping of Southern Death Cult — add in liberal amounts of Christian Death, nuke it all in a microwave for a few minutes, and the finished result might look something like this New York City cult-punk-cum-deathrock outfit.

London punks Shallow Sanction are a band from Jesse Cannon of the industrial dark wave duo Natural Assembly. Forsaking the dance-y electronics of his other band, Cannon and Shallow Sanction call upon anarcho-punk and death rock to deliver ~2-minute and under angry rippers with a throwback UK feel.

Their first 12″ was released on Hospital Productions (Dominick Fernow of Prurient’s label) and this will be the second time they’ll play one of our events. Everyone who was there last time will know that this is a show not to be missed. Pure raging power.

Self-described apathetic synth pop for a vacuous world. This Dutch duo has quickly gained attention for themselves with their dark and twisted yet extremely catchy tracks. A first tape came out on Strictly Synth and recently the follow-up was released on тhe тide øf тhe εnd.

Their sounds shows influences from some of the classic 80s groups as well as contemporaries but blending it all together in an original and captivating mix.
