The core of the band are next-level musicians who’ve all already toured the world with a variety of internationally acclaimed acts including, in particular, The Tindersticks (Al is one of their founder members (and on their first 6 albums), Claina, who’s still touring with the Tindersticks). And Spider who’s played and toured with, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Mad Professor, Scientist, UB40, and Madness. We play Reggae, Dub, Breakbeat, Downtempo, Trip Hop & World Music and have toured with Adrian Sherwood, Andrew Wetherall and Dennis Bovell.

3Head will be joined on the night alongside Dr Dub on sound mixing but also on visuals by LOSD = the Laboratory Of Sonic Discovery/ Amsterdam Based radio activist Peter Fleur & Dafna Levy.
LOSD will unload a torrent of twisted images to grab you and take US all along on this unpredictable ride to IMAGINE, SEE and RIDE.

Uncle Fester on Acid is the tripolar alter ego of ON.U Sound archivist, reissue curator and resident DJ Patrick Dokter, also known as Dr. Dub. On stage, he has supported/opened for the likes of Adrian Sherwood, Lee Perry, African Head Charge, Asian Dub Foundation, Mark Stewart, Headfake Sound System (Doug Wimbish & Will Calhoun of Living Colour) and Pitch Black.
As a remixer, Patrick is known for his work with Adrian Sherwood, Youth & Gaudi, Tackhead, Mark Stewart, Dub Syndicate, African Head Charge, Afro Celt Sound System, 3Head and many more. In 2020 and 2021, his reconstructions of Pitch Black’s album ‘filtered senses’ and Misled Convoy’s ‘sixteen sunsets’ were released on CD by UK-based Dubmission records. for 2023 he’s got a new album “Sonic Thirst” available on his bandcamp page.

I Believe In My Mess

aldus Undertones Michael Bradley in zijn wekelijks radioprogramma op BBC Ulster. De Noord-Ier riep het Amsterdamse duo gelijk uit tot zijn favoriete band van het moment.

Deze nieuwe plaat betrof de laatste single die zij in de zomer van 2022 hebben uitgebracht: “Dead In The Head”. Dit is de eerste single na het goed ontvangen debuutalbum “Do Unto Others”. In de loop van dit jaar zal er meer nieuw werk verschijnen.

I Believe In My Mess, dat is Frank van Praag (beats, gitaar, synths & vocals) en Geert de Groot (bas, gitaar & synth), in een parallel leven ook onderdeel van de band Scram C Baby. Hun muzikale wereld waaiert uiteen in richtingen als funk, indie, dub, electronic music, krautrock, psychedelica. Tekst en zang spelen hierin een ondergeschikte rol.

Sinds 2016 brengt het duo muziek uit op hun eigen Filthy Good Records. Sinds 2019 werkt de band hierbij samen met Excelsior Recordings. Verder heeft I Believe dubs gemaakt voor onder andere De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Fatima Yamaha, Hallo Venray, Canshaker Pi en Meindert Talma.
