Two heavy weights in the noise and experimental scene are teaming up for a string of co-headlining shows in June 2024.

EVICSHEN (American Dream, US)

Victoria Shen is a sound artist, experimental music performer, and instrument-maker based in San Francisco. Evicshen‘s major 2020 ‘Hair Birth’ released via American Dream Records was met with critical acclaim through major media outlet’s such as Grammy and more widely revered still are the confrontational and energetic concerts where various live electronics are used, abused not excluding the use of a bull whip which can be seen and heard cracked overhead the audience during performances. Among her latest collaborations, Evicshen has been recording and performing with The Kronos Quartet, Matmos, Aaron Dilloway

EVICSHEN EU TOUR 2023 – LIVE IN ITALY – 19.08.2023 – Bergamo Invisible*Show

“Watching noise musician Victoria Shen (A.K.A Evicshen) perform is like watching a mad scientist transform into a joyful noise cyborg. In an amazing 2019 video taken at New York’s End Times Festival of Noise and Liberation, she carefully tweaks a table full of boxes bristling with knobs and wires before wrapping cables around herself, sticking a wire in her teeth, and thrashing around so that the movement of her body itself elicits grinding spits of feedback”

MoE (Conrad Sounds, NO)

For more than 15 years MoE have challenged the borders of music in a wide variety of formats. With saxophonist Mette Rasmussen they walked along the edge of free jazz, with the Japanese legends Keiji Haino and Ikuro Takahashi they have looked inside territories they hardly thought existed. But the duo format has been the core ever since the dawn of the band in 2008, and when they first tuned their compass to the sound of the likes of Suicide and DNA.

Guro S. Moe: Bass/Vokal
Håvard Skaset: Guitar, synth, vocals

Medio Mutante presenta: MoE (Norway) en Guadalajara 2023, registro por Vrios

“No exorcism has so far made MoE silent and the music continues to jump the lines that cross trails deep from the dark Norwegian landscape to music like Henry Cow, Giacinto Scelsi, Black Flag, Swans, Neurosis and SUMAC. The music seeks the natural, spontaneous and dark sides of mankind, while the melodies sometimes herald hope in the distance.”
