Do you have clothes you don’t wear anymore? Are you looking for an opportunity to finally get rid of them? Or maybe you’ve been looking to expand your wardrobe, or modify any pieces? You’re in luck—Spotlight UvA is organizing a gender-affirming/creative clothing swap to suit (pun not intended) all your fashion-related needs.

Spotlight is a queer student association currently organizing a gender-affirming/creative clothing campaign to support trans and gender-non-conforming students in Amsterdam. Our initiative is a combination of multiple smaller strategies to provide gender-affirming/creative clothing for those who need it, including running a bake sale to fundraise and collaborating with the Dutch gender-affirming underwear company UNTAG—and now, we’re taking donations of your old gender affirming and creative clothing. We’ll also provide a space for those who want to alter and modify their clothes in a queer environment. Come hang out with us and donate, take, swap or modify your wardrobe!
