Eigengrau is the color we observe in complete darkness or with our eyes closed. It is not pure black, as we supposedly experience intrinsic light generated by our own eyes. Although often seemingly static, eigengrau can be perceived as swirling patterns and shapes of visual noise. Our album features frequencies that are twirling and twisting, static or stingy. From deep, endless landscapes of drones to in-your-face electric hits, subs that massage your ass and high tingle that massages your brain. Close your eyes and see it all evolving in your Eigengrau. INVASION is a new film about the Unist’ot’en Camp, Gidimt’en checkpoint and the larger Wet’suwet’en Nation standing up to the Canadian government and corporations who continue colonial violence against Indigenous people.
