KB_ Presents: Kuntari (ID) + Sahara Grim (US) + Saturno Santos’ Something + Brigadera || Sofaya Soundsystem [DJ]
KB_ is an Amsterdam independent collective focused on nourishing new globalized scenes involving immigrating, queer and avant-garde artists. Past events have featured special guests such as Wendy Eisenberg, Oruã, and Fuensanta. For a night of explosive rhythm and song, they pair Indonesian relentless duo KUNTARI and their very own anti-pop ensemble SSS, along with the eclectic and unconventional songwriting of Brigadera and Sahara Grim (for her Amsterdam debut!). Sofaya Soundsystem will close the night with a DJ set delving into historical bangers of South African maskandi, kwaito, gqom, and more…
KUNTARI
Named their genre as Primal-core, they have experimented with primitive voices producing animal mating calls mixed with a tons variation of Indonesian tribal rhythms. The music produced percussive primal sound with dark ambients, a solid of two individuals with Intense dynamic of heavy ancient beats.

Saturno Santos’ Something
Radiant ensemble, both indie and avant-garde, with local and immigrant members converging in Amsterdam. In trio with bassist Zenzele Mthembu-Salter and drummer Niels Luteijn, they cast popular traditions such as Brazilian maracatu, Caribbean bouyon and Zulu maskandi – and a handful of questions – into a visceral urban ritual.
Sahara Grim
She holds an eclectic background spanning bossa nova, jazz, rock, and Indian classical music. Her music merges the many influences into one sound that exists outside genre norms. Active in the underground LA music scene, Sahara joined minds with producer & artist Luke Temple (Art Feynman) in the creation of her debut album Fable, released in February 2025. Instrumentalists on Fable include experimental Harpist Nailah Hunter, Doug Stuart from Brijean, and Stone’s Throw artist Lionmilk. Sahara’s ethnic roots in India and Japan are seamlessly interwoven within her musical path, from studying sitar at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she received a degree in World Music & Jazz, to performing in venues across Japan. Sahara has shared bills with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Léa Sen among others.
BRIGADERA
Oscillating between a punk ethos and a heartfelt delicacy, the unprecedented sound of BRIGADERA is making its echoes in the international creative music scene. The duo of Beatrice Sberna & Gabriel de Oliveira defines their music as impro-songwriting: influenced by Italian cantautori and Brazilian “folk” traditions, avant-garde jazz, and contemporary pop sensibilities.
