DE MOND (BE, Futura Resistenza, Ultra Eczema)
DE MOND is the brainchild of Stijn Wybouw (KRAMP, The EC Band) and Arno De Bock (Hermànn), two musicians from Brussels. Together, they craft an electrifying blend of mucky vocalizations, tape loops, hypnotic synth sounds, and deep drum beats.
“Squirrely puffs of synth-dither, roughly-treated vocals and kaleidoscopic loops are piled thick and deep atop the drums, in such a way as to assure that anyone choosing to wiggle their hips to this music is doing so as a conscious act of perversion. Which doesn’t mean it won’t happen some late night in Ghent or Antwerp.” – Byron Coley
Their first album “GLOW” has been freshly released straight out of the Futura Resistenza – lane.
And Their Second Album “SECOND LIFE” comes out this Spring on Ultra Eczema!!
“Ultra Eczema LP release that will both torment and caress the eardrums. Psychedelic rhythms balancing somewhere between Madlib and Lightning Bolt.”- De Studio
Stijn Wybouw – vocals, tape loops, percussion triggered synth
Arno De Bock – drums, samples

HEBBEX D’EXPECTATIO EXPECTATA (NO, Drid Machine Records)
Helge Thornes (vocals): founder of and selector/mc for TROUBLETONE SOUNDSYSTEM, Norway’s first ever Champion Sound (winner of the country’s first national cup clash).
Has produced music for Jamaican DJs like MR. VEGAS and LONE RANGER. In his early youth he fronted a psychobilly group; ORANSJT MARERIT (Orange Nightmare).
Kjetil Brandsdal (record players/sound effects): Before playing bass in the Stavanger-based band NOXAGT, Kjetil Brandsdal released a number of self-produced records and tapes in the mid-to-late ’90s. In addition to his solo work and 20+ years of playing in Noxagt, Kjetil has been active in bands like ULTRALYD, NO BALLS (w/BRAINBOMBS members) and CLIFFORD TORUS. He currently runs the screen-printing and design company Drid Machine and the record label Drid Machine Records.
Thore Warland (percussion): After five years with intense touring and recording with the loud and complex music of STAER, Thore Warland has been active in numerous ensembles on the European scene of experimental music. He continued his efforts with STAER in GOLDEN ORIOLE, taking it even further out into unestablished areas. He has marked his territory with his unusual and relentless drumming style. His latest groups include FIRMAET FORVOKSEN, BURNING AXIS, PLAN AFFINE and TØRRFALL.
Shortly after releasing their debut album, Stavanger 11/12.6.2021, on Drid Machine in March 2022, Kjetil Brandsdal (record players/sound effects) and Thore Warland (percussion/sound effects) began to record new material. This session introduced a new, library music inspired, approach towards their music and resulted in the LPs RECORD PLAYERS, PERCUSSION AND SOUND EFFECTS I and II, both released in 2023 on Drid Machine Records/Hærverk Industrier. Their 4th album, GET NEXT, expands on yet also fine-tunes some of the ideas explored on these two albums. This new LP consists of 6 long tracks relying heavily on broken records and uniformly spaced beats. HYPOTAEDIUM is a 45-minute acousmatic composition consisting of 11 parts. The piece was conceived utilising the seven reverberation chambers at Tou Scene and the performance was recorded by Gaute Granli. This is Kjetil Brandsdal and Thore Warland‘s fifth album and also the fifth in a series of records on Drid Machine Records featuring hand assembled and foil stamped Procédé Heliophore covers. Much like the source material that is re-worked, looped and cut-up throughout the piece itself, the cover makes use of sleeves from bargain bin LPs.

Bryan Eubanks / Gert-Jan Prins / Tetuzi Akiyama / Toshimaru Nakamura (US/NL/JP)
Bryan Eubanks: soprano saxophone/electronics, modular synthesizer
Gert-Jan Prins: electronics, percussion
Tetuzi Akiyama: guitar
Toshimaru Nakamura: no-input mixing board
Bryan Eubanks (born in 1977) is a Berlin-based American musician who performs using soprano saxophone, electronics and computers. Gert-Jan Prins (born in 1961) is an Amsterdam-based musician whose performances make use of electronic noise and percussion. Both are well known on the international improvised music scene and carry out wide-ranging musical activities, including composition and sound installations in addition to improvisation. No-input mixing board player Toshimaru Nakamura (whose performances make use of controlled feedback) and guitarist Tetuzi Akiyama are leading Japanese improvisers who work inside and outside Japan, frequently carrying out overseas tours.
“Spring” is a collaborative album by these four musicians. Each of them separately recorded a solo performance in March 2025, and the recordings were mixed by Prins (track 1), Eubanks (2) and Nakamura (3 and 4) respectively, resulting in the four tracks on this album. Eubanks played soprano saxophone, electronics and modular synthesizer; Prins made use of electronics and percussion; Akiyama played guitar; and Nakamura used the no-input mixing board. The album sleeve features a composite of four photos of spring flowers, taken individually by the four musicians near their respective homes.
