South of North & Futura Resistenza present: Lyckle de Jong & Kim David Bots + Ugne & Maria + Montel Palmer
Showtime: 20:30
Damage: 12 euro
Amsterdam meets Brussels when South of North team up with Futura Resistenza to present an evening of experimental electronic stylings, goosebumps and coastal breeze.
Lyckle de Jong & Kim David Bots
The long-running duo trade riffs once again as they present their latest album “the third of may.” Synths, found sounds and assorted weirdness combine for this stretched-out ode to Den Helder and the curious history of the northernmost point of the North-Holland peninsula.
Ugne & Maria (Live)
The Lithuanian duo bring their uniquely zoned-out sounds to OCCII via Belgium. They perform live blending a mix of violin, electronics and samples, combining digital and human voices together to speak to the ghosts in the machines.
Montel Palmer (Live)
The Deutschland jam hounds have been raised on a strict diet of scuzzy bass, degraded tape and electro drums. Mix that up with an unhealthy dose of delay pedals, Eukanuba and computer manipulation, and a place on next year’s Crufts podium is almost guaranteed.
Doors: 20.00
Damage: 12.00 (below or at the door at the night of the event)
