Nixer began as a conversation online at the beginning of the Global Pandemic. What seemed like an ordinary catch-up back in April 2020 has turned into something far more profound. A sound inspired by a love for clubbing, fictional novels, routine exercise and guitar music; Nixer’s blend of inspiration gives us a sonic smoothie that is bursting with energy.

Queen’s Pleasure is a Britrock band from Amsterdam. Driven by an uncompromising desire for love, the foursome sounds like a contemporary mix of bands such as Fontaines D.C., The Who and Blur. With the power of the Ramones and the melancholy of The Smiths, an idiosyncratic ‘Wall of Sound’ comes your way, exactly what you would expect from a club of post-adolescents.

HUNK prefers to take life with a bucket of salt and a can of diet grunge. This indie-pop band has the energy reminiscent of a lost labrador; a bit clumsy but refreshingly comfortable in mocking everyday life. For those who secretly shed tears in the shower only to share a laugh with themselves in front of the mirror afterwards, HUNK is there with a cheeky wink to make life a little less serious 😉
