SEWER ELECTION (SE)

Dan Johansson has been making crude and raw experimental sound works for almost 2 decades. Deeply rooted in the Gothenburg underground he’s involved with several bands like Neutral, Enhet För Fri Musik and Organ Of Corti over the years. His solo works is crude and nasty, but also hypnotic, dreamlike and introspective and abstract. What separates him from the rest of the wall-of-noise-heads is that he is great at creating uncomforted and filth. To experience his music is like experiencing pure power and energy through subtle and restrained soundscapes of a world falling into pieces.

ALTAR OF FLIES (SE)

Mattias Gustafsson is a sound artist from Mjölby, Sweden and has been documenting his life in sounds since 2006, mostly working with magnetic tape and electronics. His music is influenced by early electro-acoustic music and underground noise. Not for those who get shook by the sight of their own shadow, but a real treat for listeners of a lonelier disposition who get off on the sound of the house creaking at night.

BLEACHED TORSO ORGANISATION (SE/NL)
iDEAL label head Joachim Norwall is a kingpin of the European experimental music scene. Based in Gothenburg he has a long background in the Swedish scene and started recording as a teenager in 1988. His early interest in psychic tension created by sound is now as ever present in his music, focussing on circular rhythms, analogue synth loops and mind-expanding experiments. For this occasion, Nordwall will perform with Dead Mind label head Johnny van de Koolwijk, who has been making loop based industrial since 2000.

ODAL
Peter Zincken is a legendary sound collector and noise addict from Zaandam. After his discovery of the underground tape culture in the 80’s he quickly started his own label, fanzine and obsessively recorded and manipulated sounds under the notorious Odal moniker. He never lost focus and all these years later he still is a central figure in the international tape network. Active since 1988, he captured a broad spectrum of underground electronics over the years, ranging from lo-fi rumblings, field recordings, and anti-social noise to crude power electronics.

GESELING

Harsh noise project of Jim Breedveld, focussing on creating dense walls of noise and feedback by means of scrap metal, field recordings and crude textures recorded straight to tape.
