Flute combo from the forests of France which recently made the Accons S’amuse Bien festival in the Ardèche unsafe. The duo of field etnologist Pauline Marx and instrument inventor Julien Groboz swirls up a whirlwind of hypnotic rhythms, head-spinning melodies and snake charmer mayhem. Making use of different herbs as reeds for their homemade flutes, the two sculpt a dazzling weave of nature and technology evoking both ancient cultures and endless nights in Jajouka. First NL show ever!

Ronan Riou & Marion Molle from Marseille. This duo revisits french lo-fi synth pop in a fairytale-like way, utilizing their collection of rare automatic casio keyboards, frequency modulation chanson and tape collages towards a multilayered comic book journey in form of a concert. As if there was an animated wax brush painted cartoon version of Elli & Jacno.

Antoine, from distant France but living in Brussels. In 2017, the Antwerp label Jj Funhouse released the genius “Serafine” and the Ghent label Kerm his cassette album “L’étang Des Songes”. Two completely different but oh so beautiful releases that show Accou’s diversity. In serene style Accou blends elements of crystal ambience electronics, rhythm box muffle and digital metallic clang into auditive mind trips.
