MYLES BULLEN

Myles Bullen (they) (Absentee Shawnee) is a self-described “migratory, songbird, rap seamstress, art poet” hailing from Portland, ME. Their music is influenced by indie rock bands, underrated rappers, spoken word poets, and soft, folk melodies. Bullen has toured the US and parts of Europe performing at music venues, colleges, recovery centers, prisons, festivals, coffee shops, and opera houses.

They are now back in OCCII with their new album ”timetokill”
“timetokill”, the follow up to “Mourning Travels”, has an urgency to live life as if tomorrow wasn’t promised. With a kaleidoscopic genre-fluid tracklist, Myles shuffles from one to the next like a dj with adhd.

The record features vocal guests, Ceschi, Myka 9, alunarlanding, Chris Conde, Emma Ivy, and Tark, with production by Moodie Black, Wussup Paul, Becky Krill, Rumblefield, & Tom Yanks.”

VEX
Vex is a dance-punk, synth-pop band from Malmö, Sweden. They started in 2019 as the solo act from Tobias Kastberg, previously in electro punk duo The Guilt. Live Vex is Tobias Frida and Sasha. The first album ”Average minds think alike” (2021) won the Synthsläggan award for best debut. On the follow up album ”Living up to low expectations” (2022) Vex continues to race across genres with irresistible choruses and hooks with a playful attitude. The third album ”New Sick Music” is released april 2024. Embrace the kooky weirdness with this dance punk bonanza!

The music is upbeat electronic pop with a punk attitude, reminiscent of bands like Devo, B52s, Pete Shelley, New Order or just the eclectic energy from any early 1980s weirdo.
