GREAT JOY goes bang-bang in spite of entropy.

Australian/Dutch wonk-punk band GREAT JOY creates a cathartic party experience for singing, dancing, releasing and reflecting. It is confrontation as a playful act – an opposition to what troubles us in a format that excites us. It is frustration and pain and vulnerability and love all rolled into one.

is an evolving ritual in which we collectively embrace our inner wonk, ferociously reach for the divine and, above all, get loose. It’s a light-hearted rampage in celebration of art and the out crowd, and you are all invited.

De existentiele springerige waanzinpop van Woezels vliegt alle kanten op. Net als het publiek tijdens hun shows. De inspiratiebronnen van de vier mannen uit Amsterdam en Utrecht zijn o.a. Ploegendienst, New Order, Froukje, 2 unlimited en verschillende etenswaren. Nederlandstalig, diepe bassen, keytars, humor en dansen.
