Daze In Bed
Daze In Bed is bringing us back to the 90s, these kids know how to use their pedal boards to immerse us in a bath of sweet and melancholic sound.
This dreamgaze band from Rotterdam crafts a lush blend of dream pop, shoegaze and a touch of psychedelic flair. Influenced by artists like Cocteau Twins, Melody’s Echo Chamber and Beach House, the Rotterdam-based band wraps folky melodies in walls of sound and sweeping textures. Their debut album Wet made waves in the Dutch alternative scene, earning them spots at Left of the Dial, Eendracht Festival and Popronde.
Released in 2022, Wet is an immersive record that moves between dreamy introspection and powerful, fuzzy crescendos. Recorded entirely in the analog Far Out Sound Studio, the album captures both vulnerability and bold sonic experimentation.

Comprised of members from Marathon, Jagd, and Banji, the five-piece merges ‘90s alternative rock with a fresh, modern twist. Echoes of My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, and Slow Pulp resonate through their unique blend of shoegaze and indie with a hint of emo. They played shows with Goat Girl, Hotline TNT, Girl in Red and Blood Wizard in the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands earlier this year.
Although Honey I’m Home is a new presence on the scene, they’ve already made an impressive impact. They’ve opened for Goat Girl and The Buoys in Berlin and Hotline TNT in Amsterdam, performed at Girl in Red’s show at the AFAS Live, and completed two UK tours, i.e. supporting Blood Wizard. Their live performances are full of dynamic range, seamlessly shifting from intimate moments to explosive climaxes, blending layered guitars with deeply personal lyrics.
Wishful Thinking, the band’s debut single, is a shoegaze anthem, laden with heavy fuzz guitars, dreamy vocals, and an abundance of reverb, which aligns perfectly with the current shoegaze revival. The track was self-recorded and self-produced by the band and mixed by legendary Sonny Diperri (Julie, DIIV, Protomartyr).
The song was born out of adversity—after the band’s rehearsal space burned to the ground, destroying their amps, guitars, and effects. Since then, the band has been convinced they’re cursed.

Sopa Boba (feat. Pavel Tchikov and G.W. Sok)
Sopa Boba is a Belgian/Dutch, electronic, modern classical project. The idea behind the form is a so-called Oratorio from the present age which unfolds a dramatic tale within a sociopolitical framework. The compositions incorporate a neo-classical style string quartet, harsh modular sytnhs and spoken word vocals.
Their recent LP That Moment is an adaptation of the eponymous text by Moldavian writer Nicoleta Esinencu. The starting point of That Moment takes place in a real fact, which happened in present-time Moldavia, where a father cut his son’s finger with an axe, as a punishment for stealing a bit of money from the father’s wallet. From there the author combines the tale and its reality with a caustic irony, interrogating an unbridled capitalist society, where everything and everyone is for sale. The total playing-time is 55 minutes, somewhere in between a hybrid electronic – modern classical oratorio and a concept album, with seven tracks that serve as seven chapters of an ironic and satiric story about the downward spiral of capitalist society.
“And we thank the heavens for Sok, who uses all his stagecraft to fully inhabit the tale and worldview of the young boy…
Stick in there, and you will gain enlightenment” – The Quietus
“A pervasive and fascinating piece of contemporary art, giving you plenty to get caught up on whether by means of the music itself and the details found within it, the overlying narrative, or simply all of it at once”. – Everything is Noise
“For all of those who are ready to hear how the world cracks and want to feel this brutal truth on their own skin.” – Anxious Musick Magazine
