It’s been over 3 years since we’ve done a gig in hometown Amsterdam. Way too long if you ask us, but we’ll return October 17th to one of our favourite venues OCCII joined by our friends Bismut! Two intimate, seated shows accompanied by a live VJ-set with mesmerizing visuals – all according to COVID-19 regulations. Limited tickets available – join the trip!

With strong roots in stoner and space rock, three-man formation Mantra Machine creates instrumental psychedelic jams. A dynamic mix of heavy guitars, fuzzing bass and grooving drums immersed in layered synth soundscapes. Live shows are often accompanied by mesmerizing visuals.
The band hit the ground running in 2012 during their debut at the Sonic Rock Solstice festival in England and quickly released a first EP Stage One. Two years later the full-length release Nitrogen followed. The album received many positive reviews and was picked up worldwide by various blogs and music sites.
In 2016 an invitation for the Roadburn Festival followed, they played at Yellowstock in Belgium and did a mini tour through Germany and Austria.
In 2019 a second album Heliosphere was released on which the instrumental journey into the unknown continues with room for new sounds, drawn-out compositions and unexpected turns. The album is available through Bandcamp, Spotify and other channels.

BISMUT, PROGRESSIVE HEAVY PSYCH SINCE 2016
Uit explosieve jam sessies in de krochten van de Nijmeegse underground ontstond Bismut.
Al spelend ontwikkelde Bismut een mengeling van stijlen zoals als prog rock, doom, desert rock, stoner,jazz, psych en hard rock. Na hun veelbelovende debuut optreden in de Paraplufabrieken in november 2016, speelden de drie muzikanten veel shows in binnen- en buitenland.
Bismut bracht zijn debuut langspeler, “Schwerpunkt” uit in november 2018 op het onafhankelijke label Lay Bare Recordings. Het album, wat inmiddels is uitverkocht werd zeer goed ontvangen. Na deze release speelde Bismut meer en meer shows in sympathieke clubs en op grote festivals zoals Into The Void, Zwarte Cross, Sonic Whip, Stonerfall, Yellowstock, Desert Fest en Psychedelic Network Festival.
In september 2020 brengt de band hun langverwachte 2e langspeler “Retrocausality” uit. Een waardige opvolger van Schwerpunkt, zo wordt geschreven. Deze plaat willen ze natuurlijk graag live en cov proof promoten! Optredens van Bismut zijn dynamisch, intens en in your face, bam off your chair!
