DE FRITUUR OP 180, HET VOLUME OP 10: SNACKBAR EP RELEASE

Amsterdam based garagepunx quartet SNACKBAR combine noisy garage punk with real-life Dutch lyrics into loud and short songs: like fastfood for the ears. This February marks the release of their first EP, on Geertruida cassette. To celebrate they are hosting a night of female-fronted punk extravaganza. Prepare for a night full of grease, noise, and intense performances. And deep-fried snacks.

+KER KER: ker ker – two sounds, four faces, tucked away behind a wall of simplistic beats, hot-tempered basses and dissonant strings. With hazy lyrics on that particular slice of life, smoked in an angry Dutch reverb. Some call it post-punk.
