Seafoam Walls is young impresario Jayan Bertrand of Miami, Florida, who invented his own genre of music called ‘Caribbean Jazzgaze’. His debut full length album XVI was released on Thurston Moore’s Daydream Library Series record label last year to critical acclaim from the likes of Spin Magazine and Mojo and also achieving the honour of being “Bandcamp’s ‘Album of the Day’.

Thurston Moore trok op jonge leeftijd naar New York City om daar punk te gaan spelen, waarna hij in 1980 Sonic Youth startte. Sindsdien heeft Moore een vooraanstaande rol gespeeld in de alternatieve rockscene. Met Sonic Youth werd een hele nieuwe generatie aan experimentele rock ‘n roll teweeggebracht en het bezorgde Moore een plek in de top veertig van beste gitaristen aller tijden van Amerikaans muziekblad Rolling Stone. Live wordt de muzikant begeleid door een voltallige band, bestaande uit James Sedwards (This Is Not This Heat), Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine) en Jem Doulton (Roisin Murphy, Oscillation).
