...---...LAST MINUTE...---...
KIT is a super-melodic experimental rock band from Los Angeles, featuring members of XBXRX, Hawnay Troof, and Common Eider King Eider. They were described by Rob Barber (of High Places) as "a strange intersection where Void meet Incredible String Band". This gives some insight into their wonderful muddling of genres. They play fast, short, defiant songs that mess with the ideas of pop music and wayward punk. Maybe they'll start off playing a song straight - sweetness and light abounds - but, before you know it, everything gets flipped on its head and chased into damaged terrain. KIT songs can typically embrace hardcore rush, pop verse, jagged noise and cheer rally, all within the same moment - nothing but raw energy and instinctive songwriting holding it all together. KIT have a new album available right now through Upset The Rhythm entitled 'Invocation'.

an Amsterdam based band, comprised of three unsatisfied individuals, not trying to create anything new but purposelessly projecting the bored state of this age through melodic confusion in the form of intense sound pressure levels.

Bassculture is an Amsterdam organisation that makes radio and organises party's. In both diciplines Bassculture tries to create crossovers between various music styles. Bassculture aimes at internationall underground music styles where the bass plays a main role like; reggae, dubstep, funk, dub, digi dub, soul, jungle hiphop and steppers. Bassculture also tries to make a bridge between music and other cultural activities.
Bassculture programms a mix of international DJ's and performers. In this way it creates a platform for possible new developments and meltdowns.
Bassculture is an epicenter for anyone who searches for lava and refreshments in Bass & Culture.

DE KIFT
Brik is de meest recente cd van De Kift. Brik is een onbesuisde woestijnrit, een gelukskruistocht van hier tot aan Rio de Janeiro. Spil van deze reis is de onfortuinlijke Admiraal B. Hij heeft De Kift een lift gegeven en doolt verscheurd en doodongelukkig met zijn brik door de woestijn. Brik is ook de naam van het ‘draaidrumstel’ dat De Kift bouwde. Een duivels draaiorgel opgetrokken uit schroot en oud ijzer, piepend en huilend als een mank vliegwiel. Een uitzinnig orkest over een spoor van rinkelende marsmuziek, doffe trommels en ontploffende carburateurs.
